yeah thats my mustang in the background...

ANYWAY its a '75 vette obviously red... completely original with only 46k miles I found a new intake and carb for $200 that'll be here hopefully by this weekend so I can put them on and get this baby acting right again! Also have new headers on the way for it since it has a leak that I'm 80% sure is at the headers. Interior is a bit rough but who cares?

oh and $4k..... I couldn't resist it! After I fix alot of the little things I"m going to pickup a crate engine to get 400HP+ into this little car.

I'm almost completely done working on the mustang so it was about time to find something else to work on while I enjoy the mustang. Sometimes you find something alongside the road and just can't keep on driving.

I'll get some better pictures as soon as I get a chance to wash it up properly.

Oh my God that's awesome. What a steal for the price too. Congratulations, for once the huge pic doesn't bother me

If i was going to buy another chevy thats the one looks like a killer deal. If your looking for an engine I have a iron head lt4 at least thats what I think it is sitting in my shop that i need to get rid of as I am moving to Texas and need to clean out the shop.

actually the C4 are the worst/ugliest of all the vettes! This one I purchased because it was $4k... I'm not a huge C3 fan either BUT I figured for $4k I could spend 3-4k on the engine and have a fast machine that can eat up curves too!

I have a total of about $12k into the mustang so far and I'm almost "done" with the spending at least... still have a ton of work to do with crap thats sitting around the garage.... Should be done in hopefully about 2-3wks so its time for me to find the next project.

Weirdest thing happens when I simply turn the key with this thing... it turns on! My mustang I'm always pumping the gas pedal a bit. T-Tops are really quite nice and almost as good as having a convertible without paying anywhere near the premium in price so I like it.

You guys ever have that happy AND sad feeling knowing your car is almost done? Had to find something to work on to keep the fun going

Here are some more pics: http://www.networktechs.com/corvette/ I'll upload an under hood shot shortly.

for some contrast here are some of my mustang: http://www.networktechs.com/mustang/ under the hood has changed quite a bit and a couple of shots of the new rims/disc brakes are uploaded.

VERY soon I'm going to wax that vette and also clean the mustang up for some updated pictures.

Nice Vette, but originally ot actually a sportscar if you look engine. On the other hand you can do what ever you want from SBC and usually it is not so expensive. Good thing about 1975 Vette is that it shares same frame 1963 - 1982 and same rear axle 1963 - 1980. When bushings and other suspension paerts are ok and wheel aligment is done right that car is very good and fun to drive. And last but not least: if SBC is not enough you can choose nice 502/502 BBC crate engine.
