You might check with a classic car value book. The Mach 1s are gaining in value and they made only about 25,440 Mach 1s in 73, 134,867 total mustangs. In 1966 Ford made 607,568 mustangs, 422k of them were coupes. So the Mach 1 may end up being worth more.

 

Keep your coupe, you know whats been done to it, and how it was done! You'll be sorry In the long run!

If he is offerning cash and a car, he knows something you dont. He might not be into the mach for much and have a buyer for your car. I woudnt do anything over the internet without first getting to go over the car and check it out. You know whats in yours, and what problems it has. You dont know what the mach has.

I like the big cars, but I wouldnt turn down a 66 either. It doesnt sound like you want to trade anyway.. I would give you my heap for your car in a heartbeat...if you like rust that is..
