reverse light

i have the 66 electric handing for the reverse light and i have a new t5 with a different setup for reverse. anyone of an adapter or how to make it work. I looked at modern driveline where i got everything and they dont say anything about it

lol, i c you have the same prob as me...sort of....im not quite there yet,lol. But ya, i i have my wiring harness with a simple wire that says reverse switch, and then i look at the T5 tranny and its like"....umm....uh oh"

couple of ways to go on this, really depends on whether or not you have the stock reverse light switch in the T5.

Is it from the switch on the side, or the switch on the top of the T5?. There should be two wires going to the original reverse light switch that was mounted to the shift lever assembly. Those two wires need to be soldered and shrink wrapped to the two wires from the reverse light switch of the T5 (which is the switch on the side of the T5).

On a T5 the neutral safety switch is on top near the front. I did a thread a long time ago about installing the T5. Has pictures of how I hooked up the reverse light switch. Might try a search and look at that, if you are still confused.

all i have is a hanging button with two wires... i see how it goes on the t5. I only see this button and nothing else when i push it in my lights dont come on. help i dont get it
