I know most of the things to look for: front disks, big master cylinder, factory dual exhaust, reinforcement plates for exhaust hangers, no rocker panel ornaments, no side ornaments, GT badge on fenders, scripted letters "MUSTANG" on lower fenders, GT gas cap, A or K code engine, and fog lights.

The car has all of the listed except for the fog lights...now my question is this, are there any other ways to I.D a 1966 GT car that I haven't already listed?(e.g. serial number, package number, any other cosmetic features)

 

The dual exhaust exits out the back through the valance with trumpet tips.

Is the interior the pony interior?

 

65 and 66 GTs came with standard or Pony interior.

 

But a GT with standard interior does not have a standard glove box door---it's a GT glove box door and it's different from Pony one as well.

 

Yeah, I know. I was just wondering if it was the pony interior version. To me, that would make it more valuable.

 

get the vin and find a decoder, its mainly the engine. b/c other wise i would have a gt
