For example, I just looked up the price for a 69 camaro kit. It's over $12,000. That is just the shell of a car. True, it's brand new, but it's not a real car. I would rather find a beater car, and restore it. It's probably cheaper, and REAL.

 

Well the are both "REAL" in fact it is more "REAL" if the the thing is driveable and in good shape, in my opinion.....no matter a kit car or a 67..they are both real..

 

well 6mustang6 has a good point. my uncle bought a 37 ford truck chassis and body and threw in a 350 chevy and the total cost for him was 40K+

 

Yep, that is exactly what I built. I lost money on it, but it was fun to put togeth er and drive it.
