As a Fastback owner I'm against it. People would be turning coupes into FBs and it will lower the value of genuine FBs.


Sorry but I disagree. Factory five clones the Cobra, and I don't think they have lowered the value of an original. People take Mustangs and turn them into Shelby clones, and it hasn't lowered the value of an original GT350. Ford is remaking the GT40, I don't think there is any danger of the value going down on an original. I believe if anything it helps those that have originals. Ten years ago there was not near the aftermarket for these cars that there is today. The more people are interested in something the more value is placed on it. I think you can directly relate it to cars like "Eleanor" or the 67 fastback by the Ring Brothers, or even that roadster from Mustangs Plus. These cars bring people into the Mustang community. If we don't like that I guess we can all start driving Buick's or something with less popularity.
