air cleaner?

what is the difference between closed emissions and open emissions?

The closed emission system had a special oil filler cap with a hose that routed fumes from the valve cover back into the air cleaner to be burned. It was an early California-only attempt at emissions control.

also, you could be thinking about open element and closed element...open element is like a K-Code's...

on my oil filler cap it has a tube coming out the side. the old breather had a tube connecting the two. but my breather now doesnt have it are there any pics of the differences?
