too much oil pressure?
after replacing the rod bearings and piston rings - i have 88 lbs. of oil pressure at highway speed and 38 lbs. at idle. it has been this way for 600 miles since i did the replacement. i have a high-volumn oil pump. can you have too much oil pressure? my engine is a 289 - 306.
