Have '68 Vert with tilt-away column that works if I pull the cable. Unfortuniately someone took out the vacuum canister, swithchs and bracket prior to my purchase, and I can not seem to find the mounting point under the dash for my replacement. Does the '68 bracket mount to the column or to the car under the dash. Any help would be appreciated.
