Im 20 and we got my car quoted at about 85 bucks a year. we have to have someone to come appraise it to see how much they will insure it a year. 4500 sounds absofrigginlutely ridiculous.

no thats crazy when i was 16-17 driving my old 72 fastback i was paying 210 a year for liability it was a secondary car on the policy without a primary driver. insurance tip trucks are cheap on surance buy a beater ranger with a four put u as primary and then insure the stang as a secondary vehicle i was primary on my truck it was about 800 a year plus the stang right at a thousand

My stang is my daily driver and only car. It costs me 2200 a year and I have not had a ticket in nearly 4 years.

Some of the collector car insurance places also require up to 5 years of driving experience and you also have to have other insured daily driver vehicles for each member of the household, basically meaning your stang can't be your main/only means of transportation. The collector car insurance is much cheaper but it is hard to meet all their requirments.
