Default leaking...

lately i have been driving around the city and everytime i stop and turn off my car i start to leak coolant. BUT! the temp. is not even close to hot. why does this happen?

could be a loose hose clamp or bad water pump

Your overflow tank is probably too small. I had a similar probelm when I upgraded a couple of cars radiators. The first was my stang, went to a heavy duty police package radiator. The other was my dads 89 taurus wagon, I upped the size in that too and it would leak every time he shut off the car.

Your radiator cap is shot. Get a new 13 pounder.

check the thermostat housing for a rust hole or if its bolted up flush...or if the gasket is still good....mine was definitely what was causing the leaks for me.....
