Default C5AE on heads means what?

Hi all,
I am looking at some heads with C5AE on them. According to my engine book these are C-60s
5-1965 A-full size ford E-engine. My spec book says these are hipo heads for a 289. I thought if they were for a 289 it should read C5OE. Anyone have any more info that can help me out?
Thx, Walt

C5AE-E is the HiPo head. C5OE-A is also a HiPo head, as is C3OE and C4OE-B. There are several casting numbers for the regular 289 (14 or so).
