Cool, too bad for you she doesnt like the mens.. raif is a joke on a 3rd gen F body board I hang out on, her car is hideous.. Good to know your friend has a real V8, even if it is just a 305..

just fyi here..lol.. why is the 302 Ford a great engine and the 305 chevy being about the same size is crap? Other than its a chevy, the bore is the difference. 302 Fords have a 4" bore, the same as 289's, 351's and 350 chevys, the 305 has a smaller bore since it has a 3.48 stroke crank. The smaller bore makes it tough to get air in because it limits the size of the valve. You cant run a 2" valve in a 305, but you can in a 302.. cool huh? That is why 305s suck, why chevy sucks is a whole different thing..

if you just read all that, you cant have your five minutes back.. they belong to me now, like all the limbs she cut off in Kill Bill...
pontiac 305
chevy 307
which equally sucked too

Pontiac never made a 305.. they had a race engine 303 which was a short deck 400 destroked to get 303 ci, and the lame duck 301 which even in turbo form sucked. Some guy got a 301 into the 11s but it required alot of non stock internals..

the 305 that was in mulletmobile 82-92 firebirds was a chevy.. still irks most pontiac guys that a chevy came in those cars.. woulda been better with a 400 in it..lol.

307 was a chevy and an oldsmobile. both sucked equally. interesting thing about the olds, it came with a roller cam in the late 80s..

For tiny engines I think I will stick to my Fords.. 289/302 Windsors and my beloved Clevelands are the only small engines I will build. If its gonna be large and raced, it will be a Pontiac.. I know I am a sick individual..

but bondo is fine with just a little water...

lol ^ the reason chevy had so many engine choices was because most of them sucked and they had to compensate for fords awesome line of winning engines.

Think about it......Bondo goes on wet, and you use water to sand it down. Bondo is OK, as long as you don't gob it on. A very thin layer to cover the small dings in your roof if just fine. I would however hit it with color as soon as I could.
