Im not sure what this came off of but if you want me to take any pics or measurements I will. I also have the hood with the hole in it. I have two regular hoods that I can check to see if there is any difference.

I'm going down to my Dad's on Monday and I'm bringing a truckload of parts back. I'll try and bring the hood with me. I'll look and compare it with the reqular one.

I'll email you a pic of what I have. It's to big to load here.

I believe that's the FordRamAir shaker repro, and if so, it comes with a template. If you want to make sure, you can order directly from him.

http://www.fordramair.com/

(lotsa good reading on his site about them, too, about which intake manifolds might cause problems)

If you go with the FordRamAir, make sure you share the results with us!

That's what I plan on doing next summer on my '69 390 coupe, but man...the thought of cutting up my hood scares the bejeezes out of me! But I have this thing about if I'm gonna have a hood scoop, I want it to be functional.

So be my guinea pig!

(BTW, that same FordRamAir shaker was put on a Torino in an episode of Wrecks to Riches...the car didn't sell, but man it sure looked good with that Shaker!)

yea, i like the functional scoop, but IMO, its too small, the fake scoop looks better on the 69, but i am very tempted cause functional ram is is BAD ***!!
