year differences?

are there any differences between early 66 and late model 66's? i think i dont know what im talking about here, sorry for the dumb question

I don't believe there are any differences in the early and late 66's.

motor mounts are different for one thing if I can remember anything else I will post it here. If someone else doesn't beat me to it

I thought the motor mount change was in 65

motor mont change date was 11/1/65 which is after the begining of the 66 model year

To be more precise, the motor mounts (insulators) didn't change but the frame mount brackets changed and the motor mount support brackets were eliminated altogether. And unfortunately all repro frame mount brackets for the 1965 sold by vendors are actually repros of the the 1966 but labeled as 1965. Absolutely NOBODY makes repro frame mount brackets for the 1965. I had to buy originals off of fleaBay. They are iron castings, not stamped metal like the 66s and look totally different.
