The rebuild kit I got from NAPA had the wrong size steel ***** in it. I had to go to Pony Carbs to get the right *****. I think Pony Carbs sells the whole kit plus you can get the correct jets for your alt. from them. I had to jet mine down 2 sizes as I live at 7k feet. After putting in the correct jets I could not believe the difference!

Thanks for the help. Since I live at 9000 ft, I might get the Pony Carb kit if I can find it.We do have a NAPA and Car quest in the area, and will check them out also.

I highly recomend Pony Carbs. Their kits are great. Their expertise and tech support are even better. Plus their complete restorations aren't bad either, if your doing a complete original restoration.

OK, got one from NAPA, will deal with it this weekend. Hope everything is there. If not off to Pony Carbs. Problem is on Pony Carb site, I couldn't find a repair kit.
