Default 65 vert. shift indicator light???

I was just flipping through Mustang Monthly where they have an article about shift indicator lights under the bezel. Well I don't have one and have a few ?'s for those whom are familar w/them.

Was this standard for all Mustangs in 65 or part of a package (console/non console)?

I would assume it turns on only when the headlights are on?

Does it mount to the inside of the bezel or is it basically just laying near the indicator plastic under the bezel?

any other info about this would be great as well.

Thanks

You should be able to find it at any auto parts store or the auto parts
section of a department store (such as Wal-Mart). It is a just 12 volt
bulb (P/N 1893) inside the metal cap.
