Neither of those are what I was talking about. Air-Shocks are height adjustable via an air valve stem that you can mount in your trunk somewhere. You can hook it up to an air compressor and pump up the height to a desirable level. If I can find a link ill post it, but neither of those are what you want.

I think I found what you were talking about http://www.shockwarehouse.com/site/mon_air.cfm

EDIT: we both found the same thing at the same time

Just an Example -- Check with supplier for Mustang Specific App

The link ^ is just an example of what I'm talking about. You'll have to shop around for ones that are specific to your stang.

^^^ only if you get rediculous on the air pressure. Before I did the resto on my 65 I had them on and they worked great. When I would load my buddies in the back, I could pump up the rear to the point where there wasn't any sag---even with 3 guys in the back.

I second it. I have personally seen an air shock that ripped through the floor of a 65. Using standard eye leaves and KYB gas adjust shocks will definitely bring the rear back to factory specs. I know.......that's what I have on mine. There is no need to get extension shackles or air shocks.

leafs are cheap and easy to replace...you will spend a lot more on air bags
And your point is what?
If you want a better ride, with adjustability and stability, and without ridiculous air shocks...bags are a good solution.
$250 a set IIRC. Go to the drag track and air up the right for better traction. Go to the road course and set for that. Go on the street and set for that.
Springs, shackles and good poly bushings are more than half that, easy, and not adjustable. I guess one could hope it's the correct height.
Why so much resistance to modern mods???

air shocks are bad for the floor of the trunk, airbags need to be propperly installed
