Default Keep emblems?

My stang is in the shop right now getting a nice restoration done, and im tryin to figure out if i should keep the side emblems or not. Im putting 17 inch torq thrusts on it and i want to keep it real smooth and clean, BEin a 68 it already has the side marker lights in the front and back, so should i keep the emblems or fill in the holes?

I deleted all the emblems on my 65'. But I replaced the fenders with fiberglass units and didn't feel like redrilling all the holes. The embems do help hide imperfections in the paint, body, etc. Your eye is drawn to that nice shiny 289 and not the dent or scratch next to it.

I'm deleting mine, I like the clean look it gives. Delete 'em as long as you're doing a restomod.

I agree with not putting them on a restomod. How do you guys feel about removing the door handles?

get rid of em! I have zero emblems anywhere on my 66 coupe and it's very clean looking. Shaved door handles would look killer.

You younguns slay me. How in hell are you supposed to open the door without any handles? How are you going to lock and unlock it for that matter?

Shaved handles? How do they work?
Door Poppers hooked up to a key fob remote. Usually they are powered by a small solenoid that fires a popper and pushes the door out off the latch. A lot of times people will hide emergency switches in the fenderwells and stuff too in case the keyfob craps out. Shaved handles are clean as hell, but those mustang doors are beefy so thats why I went against it.

In regards to the emblems...toss em! At the very least get rid of the mustang lettering and the side scoop ornaments...the side detail looks much cleaner without those. lets see some pics of the car.

SO i should delete all the emblems, fender, quarter, and trunk? WHat should i do about the side marker lights, i know there are some legal issues w/ deleting the side marker lights, but i dont have to worry about that where i live. also, what about front and rear w.shield trim, anyone ever left that off? and if im to delete all the emblems, that means all the holes have to be filled over right?

Well, yeah. Duhhhhhh! Not sure what you would use to take the place of the windshield and rear window trim. But, if you are going to slick it off, you may as well take off the bumpers and outside mirrors.
On edit: As long as you are at it, you may as well slick off the drip rails too.
