Default Tires Balanced

Just got new cragars with BF T/As mounted delivered from Summit. Can't wait to get them on. Noticed only 2 of the 4 tirs had balance weights on them - been awhile since I had any tires balanced but expected to see weight on all 4. what's the odds that a tire does not need weights put on?

I'd give it 3 to 1

It's possible. Rims usually aren't perfect either, so if the tire was mounted clocked to just the right position during the second full moon of a cloudless sky in lower Siberia...it could happen. Or as you have all ready guessed, someone may just have forgotten to balance the 4th one.

So get those puppies on, take a drive and get some pictures up. I bet they are going to look pretty bitchin'

If they forgot to balance one stop by a tire shop and have them take care of it. $15.00 doesn't cover the taxes you saved.

You gave it better odd than me - sweet deal on these but in any case I'm going to call them in am and at the very least get credit for the $10 bucks they charged to mount and balance.

After many, many years of dealing with tires and balancing, I don't think I have ever seen a new tire that matched up with a wheel that didn't need some balancing.
