Default whats the diffrence in codes made by mustangs?

i hear of a codes and other codes whats the diffrnece is one more valuable of a car than another? i was also looking to buy another mustang that was told its a 66, but the vin starts with a 65 does that mean its a 65 or 66? also how much is a 350 w. ford engine worth on a car? any help would be great thanks?

if the vin starts with a 65 then its a false vin. for 64.5 and 65 the vin started with a 5, 66 started with a 6. FTW, tere is noford 350. thats a chevy engine, ford has the 351W, 351C and 351M. changing the engine hurts the cars value but not by much. sometimes you got no choice. a 35 will still be a tight fit in a 64-66 stang

ok i think its a 351 w. what about the codes which is better and what do they mean? ill double check on the vin , how much does it hurt the value if its not original motor but a 351w? its still a 5 lug car

www.mustangdecoder.com dont go by the door tag unless it matches the vin in the engine compartment
