1966, anyone here convert the carb linkage to cable?

what did you use?

i'd like to find a donor pedal setup and put a lokar stainless cable on it.

 

Yeah im lookin to do the same thing because my new carb doesnt line up with the stock throttle arm. I looked at a Lokar setup but it would end up being $200+ for the pedal, throttle cable, bracket, and kickdown cable. Anyone does this a cheaper way? Im broke.

 

i'm looking to get one from a donor car. it should keep the cost below $100 for the lokar and donor. i'll hit pick n' pull and see what i can find.
