Default 66 Flasher switch

In the process of restoring a 66 coupe...when I took the glovebox out a year ago, the emergency flasher switch came with it. Now, I'm putting in the new glovebox and it's looking like part of the flasher switch is missing. Does anyone have a drawing or picture of what the switch looks like on the back side so I can at least know what I'm looking for? I've got the housing, with a toggle switch and it sticks through to the back with a little rod that moves from side to side when you move the switch. The wiring from the loom is connected to a plate with four contacts on it that snaps onto the back of the switch. However, it looks like there must be something that goes in between the contacts and the switch handle - nothing makes contact when you snap the plate on the back - there's a lot of empty space inside the housing. There must be something that attached to the switch post and touches the contacts, but I have no idea what it is. Any help out there?
