I've got a new HEI Distributor to put on my 67, but it's going to have clearance issues with the 14 inch diameter aircleaner. Looks like a 12 inch will do the job. Anyone know of a source for a 12 inch chrome aircleaner with a 3/4 to 1 inch drop and 3 inch overall height?

 

Summit sells ofset 14 inch drop bases in case you didn't know.

 

Is 11" close enough? These are good. Not entirely chrome though.

It's 13 inches, which should give me about 1/8 inch clearance around the widest part of the base of the cap. It's a little taller than than the my present 14 X 2, so it should maintain the same, or a hair more airflow, and should clear the hood since it has a 5/8 "drop".

I saw the offset base. That would be the cheap way out How the heck do you end up with the center hold down bolt back in the center of the lid?
