cross members?

want to improve your handling for cheap? Weld a pair of braces to the crossmember that attach to the lower control arm's chassis bolt...this is one of the BOSS 302 suspension mods

Those bolts have a special taper to them up by the head. You need the right bolts. you can't get them at a hardware store.

you can if they carry pipe thread bolts...but as posted above, not likely

It's not really a thread tapper thing it is more like the head has a bevel on it like a counter sunk screw.
