My original ignition was set up as a push button there was a switch in the dash with one wire running to the "s" and the other running to the + on the selinoid i put the original ignition and hooked it back up it turns over but the ignition housing got all hot and burnt my fingers wtf? !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Sounds like a dead short, you have a hot lead running to a ground i would guess.
