Hey guys. I am trying to bench bleed the master cylinder, but I cant get all of the air out. I have pumped it about 50 times.

See if this helps Tyler. Are you using a bench bleeding kit?

Here is a pic. I got most of the big bubbles out but now it is the small ones. Plus, Is fluid supposed to leak out of the piston area? Like where you push in?

The yellow print that says REMFG, pretty much says it all. I think that is Hebrew for "throw it in the trash", or something along those lines. Sorry but I haven't been keeping up on my "Language Professor" lessons lately.

Try www.rockauto.com, they usually have some pretty good deals on new replacement parts. Shipping is cheap, and the parts seem to arrive pretty fast.

If you can swing it, buy new not rebuilt. I've seen some rebuilt cylinders honed out of spec in the past few years. I think the cores are just getting used up. That one would probably make a nice cast iron toilet drain though.
If you buy another rebuilt MC take a set of calipers with you and check the bore. Then dissassemble the whole thing and look inside to make sure it is clean with no pitting.
Also, make sure you push the rod as straight as possible, so you don't **** the piston in the wore out bore.

Good luck,

Okay thanks, I emailed dennis to see what the MC came from. When i tried to get another from pep boys the outlet holes were too big, and I have everything fitted to go right into this cylinder.
