ok, i change my water pump, and i changed my overflow tank. my car stays cool longer after i changed these parts but it still gets to hot! what should i do? what are some things i can check out or replace? [sm=helpout.gif]thanks[sm=helpout.gif]
first of all check you lower hose make sure it is not collapsing and second did you intsall a new thermostat i would also look into a larger radiator or a or a nice aluminum one and check your fan also and you might want to add a transmission cooler to use in tandem with your rafiator
Define "to hot"
If you are not boiling over it is most likely not "to hot"
The thermostat should be at least 180---It's not a long way from there to boiling. It should have a 15# cap and a 50/50 antifreese mix which raises the boiling point to 255+
