Default c-4 tranny rebuild

quick question my friend has a c-4 3speed auto that he wants to rebuild for his 302(roller block) but he might use the stock input and output shafts, so his question is how much horse power can the stock input/output drives, planetary gears take aswell with torque.

if built right, it can handle almost anything a street engine can throw at it...
