Default Mustang Interest

OK, well I had originally registered to this forum to get help regarding a 67 Coupe I was buying from a friend but while his dad was dropping it off at my house he pulled out of the drive way into one of those fancy new Mustangs..., the 2006's. Ironic right?..., well he gave me money back and now I don't have my dream car.....

I'm obviously still interested in eventually rebuilding my own fire red pony dream car but I guess sometimes things are just to good to be true.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any really good threads on here about 60's stangs containing lots of pictures, modifications, or anything about restoring the car. I really don't have enough knowledge about the actual restoring of the car other than changing rotors, brakes, wheels, and small items like the lights and wiring as i've got some experience with those aspects. Just would like to learn more..., so that's really the intent of this thread... thanks!

You aren't going to find a better site for restoring a Mustang than right here. Now, go out and get you one.

same exact thing with my situation. i can do most except for major body work. so my problem is finding a fastback in decent shape for decent money. anyone know where i can get a 66 to 68 fastback.

i love the 69 also. however i hate the dash of the 69's.

about a year ago i came close to buying a 71 mach 1 with 351. but didnt. i dont know, i like the simplier dashs and interiors of the older stangs. i fee the 69's dash is too big and high.

Well it would take a mental patient or some other type of insanity to take on this 71... But it could make you a HERO!
