It's already a street machine just like it sits. Buy it and keep it original.

First things first, take off those hubcaps, and get some rims. Those are 66 hub caps anyway.

if you want it bring 6k with you. put 5k in one pocket and another 1k in another and offer 5k out the door, if he says no, pull the other 1k out your pocket, its a nice clean stright car. i would go for it.

im looking at a 1965 mustang with a 289 and 85,000 miles on it for 6,000 is this a good deal or no?
i doubt it only has 85,000 miles on it, i bet it has 185,000 or 285,000 on it. i find it hard to belive that a 41 year old car only has 85,000....

honestly i havent ever seen a 65 around here in half as good of condition as this one, and as for the miles, i checked on the dash and it still says 85 who knows if its accurate but we can only assume. if i hadnt mentioned it a 76 year old women owns the car and used to use it to drive in and out of town. But as to

If id get it i want to leave it completely original.
One problem is that i just dont have 6 grand.. if my dad can help me to get it id pay him back over time.. (im only 17) I just cant pass this car up it seems to be perfect in every aspect.
