thats cool man, everyones intitled to their own opinions, thats what makes mustangs or even cars in general awesome is that it shows a person's opinions placed into their car. thanks for the exterior compliments tho, its hard to tell in my pics, but its a metallic black but with blue flakes intead of the tradition gold or silver flakes they use for metallic black.

OK, well, except for the ski rack or whatever that is on the roof, (or is that a tree reflecting in the paint?) the outside of the body appears to be original, just the wrong black paint for a 65. And, the wheels are acceptable. Pretty clean car from the outside.

Nice car and I only hope mine turns out as nice. Perhaps you could lay out some specs for other newbies about the type of paint and primer you used, size of wheels and vendor, and some other bits that others like me can use to guide them.

Looking forward to seeing those interior shots.

no rack on top glen.. and it doesnt have to be resto correct to be nice!! w00t! nice is nice is nice is nice. Sure the green is different and some of us remember the 80s when it would be splattered all over the sides with pink and peach colors, so the green wont sit well with people who DONT fondly remember 1988, but other than that, its a nice ride. A very nice ride.

By more under the rear I mean more rubber.. I like that wide tire look.. not so wide there is no suspension, just more than a 275 60 ...

I don't mind the green...but I agree it needs to come off the export brace and shock mounts.....
