Default intake manifolds....

ok, im looking to buy an intake manifold. ive pretty much narrowed it down to 2, im just wanting some imput as to whether the edelbrock is worth the extra $100 or is the performance pretty much going to be the same?? heres the links

i have heard nothing but good about edelbrock. i would og the extra mile and fork out the extra $100

Id just get the cheaper one, I think thats the one I have. Course, if you have the money, get the more expensive one ofcourse!

You can spend the extra hundred if you want there is not much of a difference its just bassically the brand name is different.But the edelbrock supports nitrous so take that in mind.

thanks for all the input guys, i think im gonna go with the wieand, it seems to be the better choice, especially since it makes power from idle-6800 rpm and the other dont make power till 1500rpm and i think the highest they went was 6500rpm too.

The main difference between the two is that the Edelbrock one has runners that are above the bottom instead of part of it. The purpose being to try and keep the air/fuel cooler without the heat of splashing oil from below. If the Wieand fits your setup better, go with that.
