That is good info to know. Will those rotors hook right up to a 64-73? And is the bolt pattern still 5 lug, 4 1'2" pattern?

AS for your question on cost your looking at least 3 grand if no parts are correct for a v8. Rearend, axle, fuel line(i6 fuel line can vapor lock a v8), front spindles, new front/rear suspension. Most usually opt to go ahead and do disc brake conversions at this point since now you are up to 5lug and will have to replace the brakes. Then you have new wheels and tires to buy.

All 79-93's, with the exception of the 84-86 SVO and the 93 cobra, had 4 lug bolt patterns. Bolt pattern for the 4 lug was 4x4.25.

AHA! Then that wouldn't be a good idea for anyone either with a 5 lug or wanting to upgrade to a 5 lug.

Upgrading a fox to 5 lug is actually pretty easy with factory parts. You just use lincoln mark7 brake stuff and axles. On the 79-86 models youd also have to get 87-93 spindles cuz the mark 7 uses the larger diameter rotors.

Im always cautious with the brakes anyways. Drums all around. Yes it has a c4 tranny in it. Did the v6 come with rack and pinion steering? It has that as well. Im getting the rear end gasket changed out next tuesday, ill ask the size. I dont have any time to take pics tonight. Possibly tomorrow. Thanks guys. Im doing a vin check right now.

Id look into a front disc conversion from stainless steel brake or wilwood, its well worth the money, but theyre pretty expensive.
