Are you serious? I never considered that. I figured that they wouldn't design a car with only seam sealer keeping water out. I thought there would be some more welding involved.

Norcal troy and Chillininnh, did you use seam sealer on that gap between the panels on you car too?

I believe the panel is spot welded in the fold underneath tight to the quarter and requires very little if any seam sealer. I took some pics for you and will post them today.

I'm currently working in that same area, mine is filled with seam sealer also.

FYI, Mine is a 70 Mach1

Thanks a lot for the pics guys. I'm going to compare it with what I've got. I have a hunch that I'm going to have to fabricate some areas for mine to look nearly that good. The previous owner must have hacked the entire up.
