i replace my altenator 71 302 because the dash light was on , and its is still lit,i also changed the voltage regulator. the battery is charging fine, any ideas?

Mine stayed on all the time even with a good alternator/voltage regulator. I removed that circuit with a 1-wire and haven't had any light problems.
