OK so it is starting to get cold here and i have been putting it off and off some more i need heat in may car....... i have all new stuff for my heater but the controls. i hooked all the wiring up and moved the bottom switch thing and my motor did not kick on is it the switch or is it some thing Else? my motor works i tested that when i replaced my heater core.

Check your fuses. If they are all OK, then your switch may need some cleaning to make contact.

so lets just say that some guy had misplaced his heater controls (ya misplaced) and was looking for a new one were would he buy one (i have looked every were)

Also check the heater resistor mounted on the heater. The mustang supply houses like NPD, VA Mustang, and Mustang plus carry the controls if you need them.

OK i have looked every were now and now sign of any heater controls for a 1968

this is what i am talking about the whole sha-bang

I've taken apart my heater box also, to replace the floor pans. Just what does the resistor do? Also, how do you check it to see if it works? Thanks

i had the same thing happen to me. im pretty sure no production companies make them. i sat on google for hours. your bound to find a salvage company that has one.
