Default 1969 stangs

OK, so I currently have a 2006 V6 stang. When I go to college, I may be forced to sell it, so it doesnt depreciate in value while it sits in my garage. I will buy a F-150 for the snow + to beat around, and then I will buy a car for fun. Im really into muscle cars, so my other car would be soley for power, and maybe a race every now ant then, and for a show car. I really love the look of the 1969's. I was wondering if anyone know the specs for HP on these cars. Which V-8 engines are good? the 351's seemed to be a reasonable price online, much cheaper then I expected. Also, how terrible would the gas consumption be on these cars?

The 69's had the 351 Windsor engines in them. Not to get the battle about which is a better engine between the W and the Clevo, but that Windsor can be built into a powerhouse. Gas mileage? Yeah, right........
