Timing cover broke!!!
So I was trying to remove the oil dipstick from my timing cover and while tapping it out with a hammer and it broke into 3 peices.
Now I have a question. I have looked at a variety of timing covers and it appears that I have one from an early 65. Will the late 65 bolt up. I think it would also make purchasing a water pump more simple.

psssh please, timing marks are so 40 years ago.....
seriously tho...umm, im not sure, it should have a place to bolt on on there...i guess. im not sure, im not going to lie, i dont know what to tell you other then you might be able to get away with a timing light... but again, i dont know anything about those either, just throwing ideas out there.
