i got a 1965 mustang with a straight six and i was rebuilding the carb on it ond was trying to put that little bar in the back on it but every time i start the car with it on it full throttles it and if i pull it offi wont even start can any one help me please im desparate

Sounds like the left the return spring off your throttle linkage.
