HOLE IN BLOCK!!!

Default HOLE IN BLOCK!!!

I just found a hole in the block right under the distributer under the intake manifold right next to the first lifter i was told by my neighbor it might be a distrubuter access if this is not supposed to be there is my block shot??

If you have your intake of the car, and there is a hole in the valley between where the heads mount just in front of the distributor, it is their for oiling the cam gear and came from the factory there. Often looks like someone smacked the block with a hammer in the spot.

Do you have any pics? Fastback311 is probably right, there is an oil hole there that looks like someone took a hammer and punched a hole through the block because it is not a clean smooth hole.

the hole has rough edges and not really circular but more oval i dont know how to put pictures on my threads

its supposed to be there. Looks strange, but its there for a reason..
