so if you remove the door panel and look to your top left or right (depending on what side of the car you are on) you will see 2 or 3 bolts cant remember exactly that are either 1/2 or 9/16 that you remove and the window should pull strait up and out of there

When I smoked, I called it a smoker's window. Yeah you just have to take the nuts off and it will pull out. You may have some paint stopping it from popping out, but it will. I replaced the rubber in mine because it was squealing at high speeds, however I never did get it to stop the wind whistle completely. I just think it is just another quirk with owning one of these dinosaurs that were manufactured cheaply to sell a ton of them back then to get Lee Iacocco into the good graces with Ford. I did use some sealer before I put the rubber in, so the wind noise is minimal. Hey, if you don't want wind noise from the vent window, then buy a new car that doesn't have a vent window. Problem solved.

Mine don't whistle at high speed but I do notice that if I yank on it (yeah, yeah, no comments) from the top (gentle yank) it moves out about 1/8-1/4" on each vent window.

Other than not opening it by pushing on that spot, is there a way to fix it so it's more securely in place?
