Default suspension kits????? please help

Was wondering if anyone has purchased and could tell me what the major difs are between the following suspension kits? The "ultra suspension kit" from Mustang Depot of Las Vegas, the "super suspension kit" from Laurel Mountain Mustangs or the "grab-a-trak super starter kit" from Mustang Plus. I want to do my suspension on the 68 fastback without spending thousands of dollars as this will only be a Sunday driver and probably won't see the track. I know any improvement over stock will be better but which way does a guy go here or would they all be good? Thanks

I have been looking around for suspension for awhile and just purchased the super kit from laurelmountainmustang. They always have good prices. That kit includes nearly everything you will need to completly redo the suspension, and it has most of the steering components too. I deleted the steering which saved me 122 but got 1" lowered springs front and back for 50 bucks. The 750 is well worth it!

Have you got your kit yet from Laurel Mountain? If you did, did it make a big difference? Were the parts good quality? I'm from Alberta so I have to shop out of the States anyways so where-ever doesn't make a huge diff for me. Thanks

I ordered the Ultra Kit from Mustang Depot last month. I got the Meier racing upgrades on the leafs, and Upper Arms, roller perches, KYB Gas adjust, etc. The "kit" arrived in various pieces over the course of a month. I am not happy at all about that. I had to call often to make sure the stuff was coming. They don't keep all of the stuff in a "kit" in their store, they just call the other vendors and have them fire them off so they all come in a strung out timeline. They also sent the wrong year strut rod bushings. All in all, they fixed everything, but it took a month! They sent me a cool t-shirt too for my trouble, but come on, I dropped nearly $1500 on stuff that took forever to arrive. I do like thier shirt though!

Hope you liked the t-shirt. I just talked to the owner of "The Mustang Shop" in Calgary. He told me that most of these suspension kits have all the same stuff in them just that each business puts their own name on the kit. Since you got your stuff from different vendors I suppose that could be then? I like the idea of the upgrades on the leafs though and the roller perches. Thanks for your input ... really appreciate it!
