289 to 351 swap problems....

hey I'm doing a 408 (351W) into my 67 coupe and I cant get my pullys to line up. Are the water pump pulleys the same? how bout the alternator brackets? Any quick help would greatly be appreciated!!

I had no problems, I just used the same pulleys on the 351w from the 289. The brackets for the alternator work but I had to fab a 1/4 inch bracket for the powersteering. Do you have a 2 groove pulley on the crank?

Yeah my pullies are all two groove, and the front one is lining up with the back one. I'm wondering If I need some kinda spacer or something. And I'm probably also going to have to fabricate my own alternator brackets I think.
