Nice car and love the picture of the snow -- hasn't snowed here yet. (Was 70 last week, 29 the week before, and 60 this week)

nice find, i gotcha beat on the deal though(although mine is a 6...)
6k is a great price, it looks great, but you never know did you do the magnet check and look at the underside?
Thanks all! Yea - it's always a warm feeling when you find a good score. I've never had a deal like this fall into my lap so I'll remember this one for a very long time. So far with all the poking around I have been doing looking at date casting numbers it appears all is matching up as original. I do know that it was repainted yellow a long while back - originally the door tag says "Wimbledon White".
I'm open to suggestions as to what everyone else has had luck with as far as upgrades. Most of all I want it to be safe for my wife to drive. Definately disc brakes and a dual brake reservoir - probably leave the drums in the back though...
The suspension is sagging so I will have to either do one of the kits from Mustangs Plus or ?? - so that I can fit some aftermarket wheels/tires underneath it. My wife voted for the Vintage 40 wheels - I figure in 15x7 all around so that I can rotate them when need be. Don't know what tires or their size I should put on those rims though... any suggestions as to size and brand?
What about tightening up the steering components - it has a little bit of slop in the wheel but nothing bad but I imagine going to the new wheels/tires setup will only make it a bit worse... It has manual steering and brakes but I am sure you all can see that in the pics...
Here are a couple of other pics of the car - interior and back portion...

Go through the entire thread for pointers, IMO, American Racing Torque Thrust D's will look KILLER on your fastback, just like Steve McQueen's fastback in the movie Bullitt.
