I know - I'm still floored about the deal we got on it.
It was between the TT D's or the Vintage 40 wheels - she likes the V40 wheels because the spokes aren't blacked out. Eventually she wants to paint the Mustang Brittany Blue and put a lighter shade of frosted blue racing stripes on it. She thinks that the muted spokes with polished edges will go very well with the color she wants to get it painted, she saw this pic on my computer and said, "That's it - I want it painted just like that..." Well - how am I going to argue with that, she knew what she wanted immediately. Below is a pic of what she wants to paint the '65 to look like...

(BTW - I bought the Bullitt DVD and watched the chase scene so many times now that I can close my eyes and tell you where they are and what is showing on the screen at that particular moment by hearing the sound track... I know... get a life.) Here's something that I noticed in the movie that I just recently brought to the attention of a Bullitt enthusiast - when the two cars are running side by side and the Dodge boy is about to point the shotgun at McQueen - you can see that the door handle has been knocked off the Charger. Underneath that black paint is what appears to be B5 blue paint. I know that 2 Chargers were supplied for the movie but what is the chance that the dealership didn't have 2 black cars on the lot but went ahead and painted a B5 blue car in black for the movie...???

Man, I gotta see Bullitt again...LOL!

Oh, I forgot the fastback is for your wife, ok, in that case, yes, her choice of rims is better, but for a cool dude, TT D's...LOL.

Fantastic deal man, congrats.
