Default how can i find one?

i am looking for an old fastback to restore.(65-69) does anyone have or know who has one for sale that would be a good project for someone who really wants one. or would anyone be interested in trading one for a 72 cutlass convertable. i bought the cutlass to restore, i have done some work on it but i knew when i bought it that i was going to wind up wishing i had held out for a mustang.

um, first check your local classifieds, chances are you'll find one that'll be a steal and in great condition (like me)

then check forum classifieds and ebay..............those are about it. good luck

for trades, you basically have to live there

there alot easier to find on ebay, but only if you can walk around and kick the tires in person.

I would suggest looking in the South West.
Look for cars from Texas, Arizona, New Mexico.
If your lucky you could find 1 of them rust free

Rwh129,
I see you have a 72 I believe? I have a 73 vert and am looking for some advice. How restored are yours and are the fastbacks or verts? John

Shelton,

I can guarantee there is one within a 15 mile radius of your house. No kidding. I remember in one of the Mustang mags about 4 months ago there was a fellow in Ohio who has 3 VERY nice and desirable Mustangs and he said all of them were within 20 miles from his house. Don't know what he did to find them but somehow he beat the bushes. I am sure there are much more ways to find these "barn cars" than we are thinking of...

Also try "Craigslist" - I have found lots of stuff on there.

BTW - Where do you live??
