Default 66 hood scoop

Hi I am looking for an inexpensive hood scoop for my 66 mustang coupe(like the one in 66 shelbys), but I would rather not drill or mess up my hood. Does anyone know where I might get one?

If you don't want to mess up your hood by drilling or cutting, how are you going to attach it. Elmer's glue? Dumb idea just for looks.

I would just buy a fiberglass shelby hood and be done with it

There are bond on scoops, as well as bolt on that you can bond on (instead of bolting). The stuff I've read about people using to bond this stuff on is supposed to be exceptionally strong. Evidently a good auto body supply shop has the stuff.
Might be worth a look at www.cobranda.com or www.MustangDepot.com.
Try a search for "Bond" you may turn up some good information. Not sure if I read about it here or on another forum.
I have no personal experience with any of this stuff...yet. So take it for what's it's worth.

Good luck, and post a thread of what you decide to do. Newb's like me have inquiring minds

two letters...V8!

And thanks for the compliment. It's still pretty rough. I have a lot of mechanical detail work to complete. And then a complete strip and refurbish to do eventually.

Let us know how the scoop goes. That is something I will be adding to mine down the road.
