Default Shelby tail light dimensions

Hello all,

I was wondering if anybody may have this info. Are the 67 and 68 Shelby / CS tail panels the same? I know the overall dimensions are the same but I need the tail light opening dimensions for the two years. I purchased a tail panel for my car and then the lights separate. The lights won't fit! Any help is greatly appreciated.

My lenses are 4 3/4" tall and 22 1/4" in length.

My panel is 4 1/2" and tapers to 4" and is 23 1/2"

After measuring the panel I do remember seeing the lights that slightly taper to the outsides. Does anyone know if the 67 shelby had that feature?

Thanks in advance.

im doing a GT/CS conversion and those light lenses look like mine.....that tail light panel looks like a 67 shelby or a cougar tail light panel i think....

you need a California Special/68 GT500 tail light panel like mine....
