Default 66 floor console

I occasionally see floor consoles with woodgrain finish along top panels. Was this original in pony
interiors or a add on decal.

In a way, it's kind of both. If you ordered the deluxe interior decore group with a center console, it came with metal backed woodgrain decal apliques. If you ask me, that is way too much french for a truly American car. [&o]
I found a place that sells the aluminum backed woodgrain finish pieces, but I can't remember where it was. [:@]
In standard interior cars with the console, it was the "camera finish" black to match the glove box and dash bezel.

www.tonysautoclassics.com

He sells aluminum backed wood grain inserts for consoles. I purchased a set from him. Nice quality and stands up to the heat of Arizona. The plain vinyl inserts rolled and looked lousy. His produce is a bit expensive but it really helped finish my console.

Pughboy,
if you were female, cute and single, I'd give you a cyber kiss. But let's not go there
I'd seen that before and lost it. Other people have wrote the same thing about his stuff. This time it's been book marked.
The console kit is supposed to be a christmas present from my dog...I'm not supposed to know about it, but he can't keep secrets
I think he's going to order the kit tomorrow.
Thanks dude [sm=hail.gif]
